A year of Zingerman's sandwiches: No. 81

Yum...corned beef. Now, I am a huge corned beef fan. I never cared for it much when I was younger but now I can't get enough. That being said, I have to honestly admit this was not my favorite sandwich. It had a simplicity to it that I can appreciate -- bread, mustard and meat.

The bread was, as usual, amazing. The beef was great, with a nice flavor. But I don't think this is my new favorite sandwich.

But if you're looking for the simplicity of a great deli corned beef, I would recommend this sandwich. I paired it with some nice Zapp's potato chips and a Boylan soda from their fairly-new fountain.

But what I really love about having a sandwich at Zingerman's is that I can work from downtown A2 and meet a lot of interesting people. The Zingerman's Next Door area is such an interesting place to people watch.

So if you see a girl with a laptop and a Boylan's cola staring at you, don't be afraid. It's just me, gathering information for my blog or working on a news story.
