Online Christmas shopping is the best gift of all
I have always been one of those crazy people who started their Christmas shopping in August. I hate the holiday shopping crowds. It always seems like people forget the meaning of the holiday when they get into crazed shopping mode. But thanks to the plethora of internet stores and their holiday calendars, I can know exactly when my packages will arrive in conjunction with the holiday.
With the exception of a present for my friend Sarah that I picked up at Target, I completed ALL my holiday shopping online, from the couch, with my 50 pound "lap dog" snuggled up against me. I never had to fight for a spot at the mall or navigate the foot traffic. All gifts are now wrapped and organized under the tree.
My husband, however, also ordered all his Christmas presents online, and has recently had some bad experiences. One of his orders was canceled, and the others have failed to arrive.
So I guess we can't all have wonderful online shopping experiences. But for me, it has been wonderful.
