New Crosswalk Near Carpenter

Made my first trip to Carpenter Elementary this morning to cover the unveiling of a new crosswalk near the school. It's a site where three children had been hit by cars in the last five years. The new crosswalk, crossing light and all-around safer intersection was a huge collaborative effort between the school, Pittsfield Township, the Road Commission, FedEx, U of M, St. Joe's and others.
